So far this summer Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Kevin De Bruyne have joined the Stamford Bridge club, with Oscar thought to be on the verge of signing and a new striker and right-back in the cross-hairs also.
Cech has admitted that it is an exciting time for the Blues and that the latest additions will give the club a shot in the arm.
“In 2004 when I joined it was pretty similar,” the Czech Republic international told The Telegraph.
“You had the guys who had been here and had experience, and we were seven or eight new players coming in, completely hungry and ready to show we were worth it.
“We still have experienced players, and we have the young, new, positive, hungry, motivated players who are great to have in.
“And they are here to show that they are not just here by ‘Hazard’ – by accident!
“But it’s true that they want to show that they are quality players, that’s why Chelsea brought them in, and want them to be a part of this team,” he confirmed.
Chelsea are currently in the United States on a pre-season tour.
