Manchester United have been joined by Porto in their summer chase to sign Rafa Silva from Braga, according to reports from A Bola.
The 22-year-old has been a transfer target for United over the past few months, with the club already sending scouts to monitor his displays multiple times.
However, they are not alone in the race for his services as Porto are keen to hijack the potential deal to add him to their ranks.
It is believed that the Portugal international is being valued by his club at around the £16million region as the Red Devils prepare another squad overhaul in the summer.
Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is heavily tipped to replace current manager Louis van Gaal at the end of the season and will be given extra transfer funds to bring in new players.
Silva has already featured 40 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score nine goals while providing another eight assists.
