Aston Villa, Southampton and Sunderland are queuing up to sign Manchester United outcast Ashley Young, according to the Express.
The England international has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the summer arrivals of Daley Blind, Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao, and looks likely to leave the club in January.
Young enjoyed a decent pre season in a wing back role as Louis van Gaal tried out a new 3-5-2 system, but the Dutchman has since reverted to a more conventional four at the back, meaning Young is unable to break into the new look midfield at Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old is set to see his contract expire in 2016, and looks a long way from being offered an extension to his current deal.
Despite a bright start to his United career after signing in the summer of 2011, Young has since struggled for form and fitness, and has come under fire for a series of high profile dives.
Aston Villa remain the favourites for his signature, with Young enjoying the best spell of his career at the Midlands outfit prior to his move to Old Trafford, whilst Paul Lambert has vowed to improve his squad further when the window opens in January.
