Premier League trio on alert as relegated Serie A striker demands England move

Livorno striker Paulinho has revealed his desire to play in the Premier League next season, as reported by Sky Sports.

Southampton, Stoke City and Crystal Palace are all interested in the 28-year-old who could be available for a cut price fee.

The former Brazil under-20 international wants a new challenge and his agent Andrea Bagnoli has issued a come and get me plea to English sides.

Southampton are the front-runners to sign the striker, with a hefty transfer kitty now available after the sales of Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw.

Stoke have been long term admirers and Mark Hughes is in for at least one striker, similarly to Tony Pulis at Palace who are yet to make any strides in the transfer market this summer.

“Paulinho has expressed a desire to go to play in England and we are evaluating some opportunities,” said Bagnoli.

“We are at the beginning of the market and it is still early to say where he will play.”
