PSG boss hits out at Arsenal target over potential January exit

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has hit out at Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot after he recently demanded to leave in the January window, Express reports.

The 20-year-old is feeling frustrated at his lack of playing time following the return of injured midfield star Marco Verratti.

During the knock to Verratti, Rabiot was given an extended run in the first team, but has now revealed his desire to leave on loan during the upcoming window.

His remarks have caught the attention of Blanc, who admitted that he is very annoyed that the player is trying to force an exit from the Parc des Princes.

“It annoys me,” he said.

“Adrien has to understand that when you have the possibility of going at the end of your contract and to leave for free, you can do it.

“Otherwise, when you sign a contract of five years with PSG, you have to respect your first club.”

The Ligue 1 champions have already ensured progression into the next round of the Champions League, but can still qualify top of Group A if results of the Real Madrid match go their way.

Rabiot has started eight La Liga matches out of a possible 17 fixtures while managing to score one goal so far this term.
