Paris Saint-Germain star Thiago Silva is keen to see his club extend a deal for Manchester United target Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Skysports reports.
The 34-year-old is expected to leave the Parc des Princes as his deal is set to expire in the summer, with a host of European clubs keen on his signature.
Ibrahimovic has been on sensational form this season, helping his team win the Ligue 1 title with a number of games left to spare.
PSG are also battling for the Champions League trophy as they will host Manchester City in the quarter-final first leg this coming Wednesday.
Silva has admitted that he cannot imagine the club without their star striker, while also adding that if he was club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, he will surely hand the Sweden international a new deal.
“I’m not just saying this because I’m friends with him, but I can’t imagine PSG without Zlatan,” he said.
“If I were the club president I would extend his contract for one or even two years. He’s like no other, unique. Even at 34 he’s got a huge passion for football.”
The forward has already featured 41 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score 38 goals while providing another 16 assists.
