The brother and agent of Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani has urged Chelsea to sign the striker in the summer transfer market, according to reports from the Mirror.
Cavani has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes in recent weeks, with the Uruguay international unhappy with the Ligue-1 champions.
The 29-year-old has been played out of position for much of his time with PSG due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front, and despite Zlatan’s expected departure, Cavani is keen on leaving the French capital.
This has seen the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, and Juventus monitoring the former Napoli man, but his brother Fernando Guglielmone has revealed that he prefers if Cavani played under incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte or current Juve gaffer Massimiliano Allegri.
He said: “They are three big coaches [Mourinho the third], but for Edy I’d prefer the attacking game of Conte or Allegri.”
Conte is in charge of the Italy national team, and could make Cavani his marquee signing at Stamford Bridge once he steps down from the Azzurri role after Euro 2016.
