Manchester United have been alerted by talks that Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to lure Cristiano Ronaldo to France with a contract worth £500,000-a-week, Express reports.
The 30-year-old Real Madrid star has been heavily linked with a return to Old Trafford while a number of clubs in the MLS are also keen on his services.
Ronaldo was believed to be considering his future when former manager Rafa Benitez was in charge, but talks of his departure has cooled following the recent appointment of Zinedine Zidane.
Despite the situation of the forward, PSG are still expected to table a mega offer for his services during the summer window.
However, the Portugal international could continue his career at the Bernabeu given that he shares a good working relationship with Zidane.
The France legend is expected to convince Ronaldo to return as he is still considered a vital member of the squad, so far scoring 25 goals from 25 appearances this term.
