Tottenham Hotspur have shown over the last few seasons that they are genuine contenders for the Premier League title.In the 2015-16 campaign, Mauricio Pochettino’s men were the only club to push shock winners Leicester City to the final few games, but ultimately finished third.The club went one better last season by sealing second place and ending the campaign above arch rivals Arsenal for the first time in 22 years.At the moment, Spurs are five points off the pace, with Manchester City leading the way having not lost yet this season.Manchester United are the team in between the pair, but Tottenham share the same points as Jose Mourinho’s side and they are on a seven-game unbeaten run in the top flight.The North London club showed their title credentials on Sunday when they managed to outshine Liverpool in a 4-1 triumph at Wembley.Harry Kane scored twice, taking his tally to 13 in all competitions, while Son Heung-min and Dele Alli also contributed to the scoreline.Stan Collymore, who spent two years playing for Liverpool in his career, has given his backing to Tottenham to go all the way.
