QPR boss keen on reunion with unwanted Tottenham ace

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is talking to his old club Tottenham in a bid to land Sandro, according to reports from The Mirror.

The burly Brazilian midfielder’s future at Spurs has been the subject of doubt for much of the summer, with the player nicknamed ‘The Beast’ having slid down the pecking order.

Chiefs at White Hart Lane are understood to be ready to sell for the right price, which has lured Redknapp in, as he plots to add energy and power to his engine room.

QPR big-shot Tony Fernandes is rumoured to be willing to set aside big money for Sandro, which has allowed ‘Arry – who signed the player in 2010 – to contact his old side to thrash out a deal.

The Super Hoops are confident that an arrangement can be agreed as the Lilywhites are still chasing Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.

Redknapp is also keen on West Ham’s Mohamed Diame, who is available for just £3.5m.
