QPR are on the verge of signing Julio Cesar from Inter, according to The Daily Mail.
The Loftus Road club are eager to strengthen their squad after a slow start to their 2011-12 season, and as such are looking to bring in defensive reinforcements.
The South American stopper has had a vastly-successful spell at the Italian club but is now surplus to requirements under new coach Andre Stramaccioni.
Cesar was in London on Monday to meet with Mark Hughes’ men and it is believed that a deal is close to completion, with only wages to be agreed upon for him to move to the Premier League for an undisclosed fee.
Tottenham were also accredited with an interest in Cesar earlier in the summer but have since turned their attention to Hugo Lloris.
