QPR ready move for Chelsea loan outcast

QPR are keen to secure a loan deal for Chelsea’s Tomas Kalas in January, according to reports from the Sunday People.

The Czech Republic international is currently with German side Cologne for the season, but his playing time has been limited.

This has led to rumours that Chelsea are growing frustrated with the situation and are pondering a move to bring him back to Stamford Bridge in the New Year.

QPR have been alerted by this, with a move to take him to Loftus Road on the agenda.

Harry Redknapp is eager for Jose Mourinho to accelerate the process so the 21-year-old can help his Super Hoops side to secure Premier League safety, and is ready to convince the Portuguese boss that a deal is worthwhile with guarantees of minutes on the pitch in English football.

Kalas has made only a handful of outings for Chelsea, including an impressive displays in his full league debut against Liverpool last season – the infamous 2-0 Anfield victory.

The future of the youngster hinges on Cologne, who may be able to keep him with more regular playing time.
