Loftus Road - Aerial View

Arsenal moved back up to third in the Premier League after a narrow victory over QPR at Loftus Road.

Harry Redknapp post-match…"When you go 1-0 down to Arsenal in the first minute then you fear the worse, but I felt we played every bit as well as them."

Arsene Wenger post-match"We had a great start and surprised QPR. But then they came back strongly and showed they have no fear. I think they've got a good chance of coming back up to the Premier League. We're on a very strong run and want that to carry on until the end of the season."

Good day for…Theo Walcott: Arsenal's match winner and a perpetual threat to QPR's brittle rearguard. Although service wasn't forthcoming he plugged away admirably up front and was the Gunners bright spark for much the evening.

Bad day for…Lukas Podolski: Unlike Walcott this was a match to forget for the German international. Looked disinterested and unwilling to carry out his duties as Arsenal's central striker. Summer move on the brain perhaps?
