Real Madrid boss expects Atletico striker to make Chelsea move

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is confident that Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa will join Chelsea this summer, as reported by Sky Sports.

Costa is set to be fit for the Champions League final tonight where the La Liga champions face Ancelotti’s Real in Lisbon.

The Brazilian-born striker will represent Spain at the World Cup this summer but could be named as a Chelsea player before then.

The Blues are desperate to add the 25 year old to their squad as soon as possible and former Chelsea boss Ancelotti expects Costa to thrive in the Premier League.

“Costa is a good player, really dangerous,” Ancelotti said.

“Costa, he goes to Chelsea, no? He’s a very good player, and he would suit the Chelsea style, the counter-attack. But we will see.”

Real Madrid are favourites for the Champions League final tonight and are set to field both Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo as they look to get revenge on their city counterparts.
