Real Madrid join Manchester United in chase of Serie A prodigy

Manchester United have been joined by Real Madrid in the chase to sign Italian youth prodigy Hachim Mastour, according to reports from the Express.

Already being dubbed as the ‘New Ronaldo’ or the ‘Morrocan Messi’, Italian radio Cope Deportes revealed that Mastour has now become a target for Real Madrid after the European champions recently signed another talented youngster in Martin Odegaard.

Mastour was bought by AC Milan for £400,000 back in 2012 from Reginna, which was a high fee for a then inexperienced 14-year-old.

Now 16, the Morrocan-Italian has played several pre-season friendlies as well as making a few appearances coming off the bench in Serie A.

And although capable of representing either Morocco or Italy in the future, Mastour has already played in the Italian U-16 setup.

The youngster became a viral sensation after several videos that showcased his mercurial talents, one which featured him juggling a ball with Brazilian and Barcelona superstar Neymar.
