Real Madrid star Iker Casillas is reportedly keen on joining Arsenal when the transfer window reopens this summer, according to the Metro.
Casillas has been heavily linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu amid speculation that Real are interested in signing Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
It has also been claimed that if De Gea was to receive an offer from the European champions, it would be too difficult to resist.
This has therefore unsettled the former Spain captain, and according to Spanish journalist Josep Pederol, he is ready to leave the Madrid for the Gunners.

Despite being a popular figure for over a decade, Casillas has struggled for form and fitness in the last couple of seasons, only regaining his status as the club’s number-one following Diego Lopez’s departure to AC Milan last summer.
The 33-year-old also lost his starting spot in the national team setup to De Gea, and is unwilling to play second-fiddle if the Red Devils ace signs for Real Madrid.
