Real Madrid are keen to sign on-loan Manchester United star Javier Hernandez on a permanent basis, but are demanding that the Red Devils lower their £17million asking price, Express reports.
Hernandez made the summer move to the Santiago Bernabeu on a season-long loan after United completed the deadline day signing of Radamel Falcao, and the Mexico international has impressed scoring three goals in just four league appearances.
His performances have been enough to convince Real boss Carlo Ancelotti of his abilities, and the Italian is keen to keep the player after the end of the season.
The La Liga side have an option to buy the player once his loan contract ends but Ancelotti is only willing to pay £12million rather than the £17million valuation by United.
The European champions are also interested in the services of Red Devils goalkeeper David de Gea, who they see as the perfect replacement to an aging and underperforming Iker Casillas.
