Liverpool youngster Jerome Sinclair has joined Championship club Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the current campaign, according to reports from the Mirror.
Sinclair will be the second Reds starlet to make the loan move to the DW Stadium following winger Sheyi Ojo’s switch at the end of January.
Ojo has been impressive for the Latics, and the club will hope Sinclair has a similar impact to help pull Wigan out of the Championship relegation zone.
Sinclair joined Liverpool from West Bromwich Albion back in 2011, and became the youngest player to ever play for the Reds when he came on in a League Cup game back in September 2012 at the age of 16 years and six days.
And after several years in the academy, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers now believes that this is the perfect time for the 18-year-old to gain some additional first team experience.
Sinclair has been in amazing form for the youth side this season, scoring a total of 22 goals.
