Relegation-ready QPR resigned to losing scoring star

The Daily Star Sunday are reporting that relegation favourites Queens Park Rangers will lose Charlie Austin and Matt Phillips in the summer as part of a mass exodus if they fail to avoid the drop.

Top-scorer Austin Рwho has netted a hugely impressive 17 goals for the Rs this season Рwill be a £10 million target for a number of Premier League clubs if the London club go down.

Their 2-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield at Saturday means they are almost certain to be playing Championship football next term, which is likely to spark a bidding war in the summer.

The 25 year-old forward has been linked with a move to Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle, Crystal Palace and even champions-elect Chelsea.As well as Austin, winger Matt Phillips will also be hot property, while a whole host of experienced players such as Clint Hill, Rio Ferdinand, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joey Barton, Richard Dunne, Bobby Zamora and Karl Henry are also expected to move on.
