France ace Franck Ribery has ended doubts about his future by signing a new five-year contract with Bayern Munich.
The 27-year-old forward penned his new deal just before the 2-0 Champions League final defeat by Internazionale, a game which Ribery missed due to suspension.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the club's official website:"We are very pleased that one of the best players in the world has agreed to a contract extension.
"This is also a sign of the great objectives of FC Bayern in the coming years."
Ribery himself added:"I am very happy that I have decided for a further co-operation with the FC Bayern.
"My family and I are very happy to remain in Munich. The club has become for me a large family."
Ribery joined Bayern in the summer of 2007 from Marseille and has since scored 31 goals in 99 league and European appearances for the Bavarian giants.
