Birmingham City have handed a new contract to defender Liam Ridgewell.
Ridgewell, 25, has pledged his future to the St Andrew's club until 2013 after putting pen to paper on a fresh three-year deal.
The centre-half joined the Blues from local rivals Aston Villa in August 2007 and has gone on to make 113 first-team appearances.
Last season he turned out 37 times for Alex McLeish's side and scored four goals.
Ridgewell is the second member of the Blues squad to sign a new deal this summer.
Last week veteran goalkeeper Maik Taylor penned a one-year extension to remain at St Andrew's.
