Unhappy winger Albert Riera is determined to leave Liverpool this summer after citing a lack of support from the club's board.
Riera has found himself frozen out at Anfield since criticising the man-management technique of Reds boss Rafael Benitez back in March.
The £8million signing from Espanyol in 2008 seems certain to be heading back to Spain this summer and a swipe at the board is likely to hasten his departure.
"I want to leave," he told the Daily Mirror."English clubs are run differently to Spanish clubs.
"In England you have a manager at the club and the board of the club has done nothing for me. The club has not fought for me.
"I do not want to quarrel, but if a club doesn't fight for you, that means they don't want you.
"I do not want to be in a place where I am not wanted."
