Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that striker Robbie Keane will be allowed to leave White Hart Lane in January.
The Republic of Ireland striker has long been the subject of transfer speculation and spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic.
Fuelling the rumours is the fact Keane has only started twice for Spurs this season, with Peter Crouch, Roman Pavyluchenko and Jermain Defoe ahead of him in the pecking order.
Keane has not featured for Tottenham in over a month and Redknapp has admitted he has spoken to the player about his future.
He said:"I think he'd like to move – he wants to play, you know?
"He could sit here and take his wages, but that's not him."
Redknapp has also insisted that he will not consider loaning Keane out again, stressing that any move away from White Hart Lane would be permanent. Meanwhile, he has admitted he doesn't know where Keane will end up, saying the answer will lie with whoever offers the biggest fee.
