As reported by The Scotsman, Celtic's Patrick Roberts has opened up on the massive few weeks ahead for the club that could see them go down in history as one of the best sides Scottish football has ever seen.

What's the story?

Not just chasing a domestic treble of trophies, but also the prospect of going the entire domestic season unbeaten in all competitions, you might think that the pressure is ramping up on Brendan Rodgers' Celtic.

That does not appear to be the case however. One of the first team's youngest stars, Patrick Roberts, has ensured supporters that both him and his teammates are just preparing for fixtures in the same way they have all season.

As quoted by The Scotsman, Roberts said:

"I don’t think it fazes us. We go on to the pitch and we want to play the best we possibly can and improve. Potentially, yeah, making history [might freak out some teams]. But for us we’ve been the same since we started the season against Hearts."

His words will certainly be welcome by the Celtic support, who know their team stands on the cusp of greatness. That's not to say their success already has been unremarkable, they have won the Scottish Premiership by a country mile after all, also securing the Scottish League Cup.

Seasons like this though come by very rarely and to fall at the final hurdle when immortality is in touching distance would be a great disappointment for fans.

If Roberts and the Celtic team can stay focused and play to the best of their ability without nerves creeping in then the three games left should be won comfortably.
