Liverpool star Mamadou Sakho is set to be the target of another transfer move from Roma, according to reports from Talksport.
The 25-year-old was being monitored by the Serie A giants during the recent summer window and was said to have even been on the receiving end of a loan offer for his services.
The Reds eventually rejected the offer despite Sakho not being guaranteed a regular role given competition for places with Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel.
He joined from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain back in 2013, but has struggled with injuries over the past few campaigns, limiting his chances to prove himself.
The France international only signed a new deal last month, but his future could still be in doubt given the recent appointment of Jurgen Klopp as the club’s new manager.
With speculation that the former Borussia Dortmund boss is looking to rebuild the squad, he may decide to cash in on the defensive star in order to fund moves for other alternatives.
