Roma star Mohamed Salah has revealed that he would love to work with Manchester United linked manager Jose Mourinho once again, Express reports.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan from Chelsea after struggling to hold down a regular role, but has found top form playing in the Serie A.
Salah admitted that Mourinho was a major factor in his decision to leave FC Basel back in 2014 in order to complete a switch to Stamford Bridge and would love to be reunited with the Portuguese boss.
“I received a phone call from Mourinho and that changed everything,” he told Egyptian television channel MBC Masr.
“He explained the situation to me and told me that he needed me at Chelsea. That was one of the main reasons why I joined Chelsea.
“If in the future I have a chance to work with him again, I’d be very happy.“
The former Blues and Real Madrid manager is heavily tipped to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford after a rocky campaign.
His side are now fifth on the Premier League table after a number of inconsistent results, but can still finish in the top four as they are only a point behind rivals Manchester City in fourth.
The winger has already featured 35 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score 12 goals while providing another seven assists.
