Blackburn Rovers have wrapped up the signing of Turkey international midfielder Yildiray Basturk on loan from Stuttgart until the end of the season.
The Germany-born 31-year-old joined his current club in the summer of 2007, but has struggled to make a major impact and has started only one Bundesliga game this season.
Basturk had previously impressed in Germany with Hertha Berlin, Bayer Leverkusen and Bochum, having started his professional career with Wattenscheid.
He was a key member of the Turkey side who reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2002, but has been left stranded on 49 caps after deciding to end his international career 18 months ago.
Basturk's arrival at Ewood Park comes as striker Benni McCarthy is set to head out to join West Ham United.
