Sacked United boss admits offers are on the table

Former Manchester United boss David Moyes has admitted that he has received a number of offers since leaving Old Trafford, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The Scot was sacked after less than a year in charge with United drifting in mid-table and out of the Champions League.

Whoever took charge after Sir Alex Ferguson was going to find it tough but Moyes took the Premier League champions down to 7th in the league and divided supporters.

The former Everton man has moved on though and is weighing up his options as to whether he jumps straight back on the horse and enjoys a few months away from the game.

‘Since leaving, I have received some very good offers and am tempted by one or two of them,’ Moyes said in the Sunday Times.

‘I have not closed the door on anything and am open-minded about my next step in management, and whether it will be in the UK or abroad.

‘Another possibility is that I may choose to have a break and enjoy watching and observing football throughout the world. What I do know for sure is that I have moved on.’

He added: ‘I have spoken to Sir Alex Ferguson on several occasions in the past few weeks. We met recently at the LMA dinner in London. I had nothing but support from Sir Alex during my time as manager.’
