Sanchez forced to play for Arsenal

Arsenal will be forced to play Alexis Sanchez against West Brom this weekend due to injuries to others, The Guardian report, even though the skilful attacker has had a gruelling schedule of late.

The Chile international travelled back to his homeland for a clash against Colombia, before heading to Uruguay in World Cup qualifying.

Despite the fact that the former Barcelona man only returned to London on Thursday, Arsene Wenger has little choice but to field the star against the Baggies.

With the likes of Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck still on the treatment table, the French coach cannot afford to rest Sanchez for the clash at The Hawthorns.

Wenger has been vocal over his fear of burning the ex-Udinese man out, especially given that he did not have a proper pre-season due to competing in the Copa America in the summer.

Arsenal will hope to record three points against Tony Pulis’ men to keep pressure on league leaders Manchester City.
