Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro would be happy for a move away from White Hart Lane in the January transfer window, according to his agent talkSPORT reports.
The Brazilians agent Luiz Paulo Chignall declared that Italy could be the prime destination for his client after his lack of first team football under Harry Redknapp. The holding midfielder has fallen down the pecking order in North London after the arrival of Scott Parker in the summer and the England international has been on fine form since his arrival from West Ham.
Sandro signed a new 5-year-deal at the Lane in September which could increase the price of the 22-year-old who cost Redknapp £8million in 2009.
AC Milan and Roma have been linked with a move in January but Sandro’s agent Chignall claims he is yet to be officially approached by any club but expects to change in the coming weeks.
Chignall told Italian website Notiziario Sportivo: “A move to Italy? Sandro is interested in playing in the major leagues, and Serie A is one of them.
“In football you can never rule anything out, though, with it possible that negotiations will see all parties reach an agreement.
“Many clubs have contacted me for information on his situation, but there has been no official proposal. He’s a Tottenham player and any possible negotiations must pass through the club.”
