Arsenal star Chuba Akpom has now joined Hull City on a season-long loan deal with Isaac Hayden making the move earlier, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 19-year-old was a regular selection for manager Arsene Wenger during the club’s preseason tour of Asia, scoring a hat-trick against the Singapore Select XI.
He also revealed his happiness over the move as he targets to help Hull get promotion after they were relegation from the Premier League last season.
Akpom featured 11 times for the Gunners Under-21 squad during the previous term and managed to score a total of nine goals.
The Tigers have already lost a number of key players following their drop into the English Championship with James Chester and Robbie Brady joining West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City respecitively.
They are now also close to losing striker Dame N’Doye to Turkish outfits Trabzonspor with manager Steve Bruce not likely to be able to keep hold of a number of his star players.
