Manchester United could be without James Wilson this weekend, after the striker picked up an injury playing for the Under-21 squad, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 19-year-old is likely to join Robin van Persie on the sidelines, leaving manager Louis van Gaal with Radamel Falcao and Wayne Rooney as his only two available forwards.
Van Persie was seen on crutches following the 2-1 league defeat to Swansea City, while Wilson suffered a dead leg after only managing to feature for 39 minutes.
The United starlet has made 12 Premier League appearances for the senior side, with ten of them coming on as substitute, scoring one league goal.
However, he is now being tipped to depart on loan this summer, with Van Gaal looking to purchase a world-class striker to replace Wilson during the transfer window.
The Red Devils have been linked with Palermo’s Paulo Dybala as well as Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski in recent weeks, two players that would greatly add to the Red Devils attack.
