Juventus have rejected an £8.5million bid from Sevilla in their efforts to sign Arsenal and Manchester United target Fernando Llorente, according to reports from the Express.
The 30-year-old emerged as a striking target for both Premier League giants amid speculation that the Serie A winners were open to his departure.
Sevilla have also joined the race for his services after losing star man Carlos Bacca to AC Milan, but have failed with their initial bid.
It is believed that Juve are looking for offers around the £10.5million region, giving all the interested parties a benchmark for future bids.
The Italian giants are planning to offload the Spanish forward following their capture of Mario Mandzukic from Atletico Madrid as well as Paulo Dybala from Palermo.
Apart from United and the Gunners, English outfits Crystal Palace and Stoke City have also been monitoring the situation of the player ahead of his potential departure.
