Juventus have released a statement confirming that Paul Pogba, who is a transfer target for a number of European sides including Manchester United and Chelsea will not be sold, Express reports.
The 21-year-old is highly regarded as one of the best central midfielders in the world and have also attracted interest of Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.
A number of clubs are said to already be preparing to table an offer worth about £77million in order to acquire his services, but the general director of Juventus, Giuseppe Marotta, has ruled out his possible sale.
“What was a promising player has become a reality.
“Every European club is watching him and have been in contact with us.
“We, however, want to have a strong team made up of champions.
“We have an important player in Pogba and we don’t have a need to sell him.”
Pogba is tipped to remain in Italy especially after extending his contract up until 2019 and should any club want to sign him, they better be prepared to make a huge offer.
