Everton winger Aiden McGeady has completed a loan move to Sheffield Wednesday for the remainder of the season, report BBC Sport.
The Republic of Ireland international had only featured in one game for the Merseyside club this season.
Since joining the Toffees over two years ago, the 29-year old has mustered just 43 appearances at Goodison Park.
Now, he will move to Sheffield for the rest of this campaign as he aims to secure a place in the Irish squad for Euro 2016.
He has made 76 appearances at international level, having started his career with Celtic.
A lucrative move to Spartak Moscow followed, though he never truly kicked on at Everton since arriving in January 2014.
Leeds United and Blackburn were also touted as potential destinations, though he will now link up with the Owls to aid their promotion push.
‘He’s a player that can improve the team and will help us in the second part of the season’, revealed Wednesday chief Carlos Carvahal.
