Sir Alex Ferguson never felt that victory in Wednesday's 1-0 Champions League victory over Bursaspor was in doubt.
United dominated their Group C encounter with the Turkish champions at Old Trafford but only had a seventh-minute goal from Nani to show for their efforts.
The Red Devils missed a handful of late chances but the lack of offensive ambition from the visitors left Ferguson in relaxed mood in the dugout.
"We could have pushed on better but I think we did the job well in terms of the intensity of our game," he explained.
"We controlled the whole match, I think they had one shot with two minutes to go or something like that, but we could have done better in terms of last-third play.
"I didn't think they could score, our defensive concentration was very good."
