Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has been giving his Championship predictions ahead of the weekend's fixtures, and he believes that Leeds United will get back to winning ways when they host Ipswich Town at Elland Road on Saturday.

The Championship leaders' unbeaten start to the season came to an end when they were beaten 1-0 by Millwall at The Den last weekend, with Aiden O’Brien’s goal proving to be the difference on a below-par day at the office for Thomas Christiansen's side following four straight victories and six successive clean sheets.

The defeat wasn’t enough to knock the Yorkshire outfit off of the top of the Championship though, and they bounced back well when a much-changed team beat Burnley 5-3 on penalties to advance to the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.

It certainly won’t be a simple task against Mick McCarthy's men though, who have won five and lost two of their opening seven Championship fixtures as they look to be involved in the promotion race themselves this term.

Despite their decent form, Prutton says that the hosts should have too much for the Tractor Boys in front of another bumper home crowd.

The former Whites midfielder said: "In a strange way Leeds losing last week may not have been too bad for them in the long run. I fancied them to win at Millwall but a defeat may have taken the pressure off a little bit.

"They made a lot of changes in the week against Burnley but still got a good result so there won't be an end to the feel-good factor at Elland Road, and they'll have too much for Ipswich on Saturday."

Leeds supporters will certainly hope the Sky Sports pundit is right as they finally look to secure a return to the Premier League season following their relegation back in 2004.
