Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has confirmed that he will not be selling anybody in January and has praised Morgan Schneiderlin for his attitude despite a strained relationship with the club during the summer window, Metro reports.
Both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal were heavily linked with the 25-year-old ahead of the new Premier League campaign, but the Saints denied his exit despite the fact that he was trying to force a move.
Koeman has led his team to a very convincing start to the new season despite loosing a number of stars during the summer and has now revealed that none of his players will be leaving.
“We will sell nobody in January,” he said.
“Morgan’s attitude is fantastic – everybody knows that he had a difficult time in the summer, but finally he accepted his situation and he’s doing his best and looking forward to returning to playing [from injury].”
The midfielder has made 13 league appearances so far, netting three goals and is seen as a vital member of the new and improved squad.
