Southampton are keen to lure Solly March to the club following a number of impressive displays for Championship side Brighton, Mirror reports.
The 21-year-old emerged as a previous transfer target for manager Ronald Koeman, but was overlooked given that he was yet to prove himself.
However, it is now believed that the Saints are ready to finally make a formal move for his services after he helped his club top the Championship table.
With 18 league matches already being played, Brighton are still unbeaten after managing to register 10 wins and eight draws so far this term.
Koeman is now keen to add the winger into his ranks amid speculation that he could cost the club around the £7.5million region.
His side are currently sitting 10th on the Premier League table after only being able to pick up five wins from their first 14 fixtures.
March has now featured 14 times in the Championship, scoring three goals while providing another one assist so far this term.
