Southampton are weighing up a £10 million move for Anderlecht star Dennis Praet but face competition for the playmaker’s signing from Everton, according to The Daily Mail.
The Belgian club have brought a wealth of gifted youngsters through their youth ranks in recent years, with the likes of Adnan Januzaj and Romelu Lukaku leaving their homelands to move to England.
Praet is regarded as one of the European nation’s brightest prospects and continues to light up the Pro League with his shows of skill, vision and creativity.
It seems like only a matter of time before the 22-year-old moves to one of Europe’s major leagues and the midfielder is said to have suitors all over the continent.
Southampton have recruited from the European market excellently over recent years and are keen to reinforce this summer and build on their sixth placed finish in 2015-16.
Everton are also believed to be interested in Praet, who would command a fee in the £10 million range according to the latest report.
