Southampton welcome Fulham to St Mary's on Sunday lunchtime, looking to bounce back from a defeat last time out at Goodison Park.

The Premier League new boys have played some decent football since their return, but their problems clearly lie in defence. Their current record shows they are conceding three goals a game on average.

Fulham have made a solid start to the season under Martin Jol, and were unfortunate to lose to Champions Manchester City last weekend after a late Edin Dzeko goal.

Nigel Adkins will look to use his teams last home performance as inspiration, as his side ran out 4-1 winners over Aston Villa.

Adkins also has a virtually full squad to pick from for this encounter, with midfielder Jack Cork the only player missing.

Big money signing Gaston Ramirez is set to start, after he scored his first goal for his new club during the defeat to Everton last weekend.

Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov is still missing with a thigh injury.

But winger Kerim Frei, centre-back Philippe Senderos and midfielder Simon Davies could all return.

Prediction: Southampton 2-2 Fulham
