Celta Vigo star Nolito is set to turn down a move to Arsenal in favour of a switch to Barcelona this January, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Nolito has been heavily linked with a transfer away from the Balaidos in recent weeks after an amazing start to the current season, which has seen him score five goals and supply three assists in seven games.
The Gunners and European champions Barca are therefore eyeing his services, with reports even suggesting that Arsenal are willing to triple his wages to lure him to the Emirates.
However, it seems that the 29-year-old is keen on remaining in Spain, and will choose a move to the Barcelona over one to the English top flight.
Nolito is also keen on reuniting with Barca boss Luis Enrique, with the two previously working together when Enrique was at the Celta helm.
Last season, Nolito made 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals.
