Spurs and Liverpool target open to summer move

Christian Eriksen

Ajax midfield maestro Christian Eriksen is uncertain on his future with interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool gathering momentum, according to Sky Sports.

Eriksen is the star of the Ajax team, bossing the midfield with the flair and passing ability that the Premier League would love to have.

The 21 year old has admirers all over Europe including big clubs in Spain and Italy but the big spending English pair would fancy their chances of snapping the Danish international up if he became available.

Eriksen is likely to link up with the Amsterdam club for pre-season training in July but a move abroad before the close of the transfer window in September is still a real possibility.

The attacking midfielder who has notched seven times this season for the Eridivisie league leaders has admitted that he may yet extend his contract at Ajax but an offer is yet to come in.

“I don’t know if I will be an Ajax player after the summer,” Eriksen told Sporten.

“I will probably start up training with Ajax, and then we will see what happens. I don’t exclude anything.

“I haven’t received a detailed offer of an extension yet, but my agent has had talks with the club regarding that matter.”
