Spurs boss wants further improvements after Chelsea win

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has demanded further improvements from his side, on the back of their excellent 5-3 win over Chelsea on New Years Day, reports the Daily Mail.

Tottenham appear to be the side with the most momentum in the race for fourth, and seem to have rectified the home form that proved such a problem during the first half of the season.

They became only the second side ever to score five goals against a Mourinho side during their last outing, but Pochettino has demanded more from his side heading into the second half of the season.

‘I think that we are very happy with what the team showed against Chelsea,’ Pochettino said ahead of Monday’s trip to Burnley in the FA Cup.

‘It is not easy. You always need time to change things, but the team are starting to show what we want to see.
‘We are in a process and we need to believe and build our way.

‘Victories like this, means you can improve more quickly.’
