Tottenham are thought to have made enquiries for Fulham’s Moussa Dembele and Shakhtar Donestk’s Willian, The Telegraph report.
The White Hart Lane club face a battle to hold onto key playmaker Luka Modric this summer, with Real Madrid making an attempt to sign the unsettled midfielder.
As such Andre Villas-Boas has been accredited with looking at other options to replace the outgoing Croatian, and build on the summer signings of Jan Vertonghen and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Dembele has impressed at Craven Cottage since moving to London two years ago, and is part of an impressive group of young Belgian players infiltrating the European game.
Although the Cottagers only paid £3.2 million for the midfielder, Martin Jol is said to want £15 million to part with his key man, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United.
Willian meanwhile has been courted by Chelsea over the last year, with the Ukrainian club admitting that they have turned down offers from the Blues.
The Brazilian attacker is said to be able to command around £20 million, and Villas-Boas is weighing up a move for the South American star.
