Tottenham have been given the green light to make a move for the Sandro, after he conceded he was flattered by Tottenham’s interest and that he is also keen to play in the Premier League.
The tough tackling Brazilian is one of the country’s bright young hopes and recently made his debut for the full national team and has been attracting the interest of Tottenham, who failed to get a deal and work permit tied down for him in the summer.
Harry Redknapp has openly spoke of his admiration for the player only last week and given Tottenham’s newly formed association with Sandro’s club Internacional, the North Londoners will feel they are in a good position to negotiate a deal.
Sandro is certainly not against a move to White Hart Lane, although accepts that any decision over his future remains out of his hands:
“I am aware that clubs have watched me and read about Tottenham’s interest, which is very flattering,
“The Premier League is a great challenge for any player so I will look at any offers from England but my club will decide my future.” (Daily Mirror)
