Tottenham drew with West Brom 1-1 in what was a frustrating afternoon for the hosts.
Christian Eriksen opened up the scoring on 36 minutes before Spurs were thwarted by the Baggies just 2 minutes later as Jonas Olsson equalised to grab a share of the spoils.
Eriksen’s goal was a fine 25 yard free kick which gave keeper Ben Foster no chance whilst Jonas Olsson stabbed home from close range for the visitors after Tottenham failed to clear their lines.
The Lilywhites started the brighter with their new formation of 2 men in attack under Tim Sherwood but still suffered from their same woes at White Hart Lane they have suffered under AVB.
The Baggies had lost four on the bounce before their draw against Hull last week and despite wanting to claim three points they will definitely be the happier of the two sides with this display.
Morrison nearly gave West Brom all three points with a great chance he spurned wide, but could also be thankful that Steven Reid wasn’t sent off for his challenge on Danny Rose.
Adebayor and Soldado didn’t get too many chances to have a clinical edge as the final ball was missing from Spurs and even Lamela who came on later on in the game couldn’t help his team force a winner.
A few boos rang out around the ground at the end but West Brom will be happy they survived a late onslaught of pressure to pick up a deserved point.
