Stoke City have signed now former Real Madrid ace Sergio Molina on a three-year-deal, according to reports from Sky Sports.
And although they’ve been heralded as a Barcelona B team due to the amount of ex-Barca youngsters in the squad, the Potters have gone out to sign a defensive midfielder from their arch rivals Real Madrid instead.
Molina was in England to negotiate a move following an impressive time playing in the Los Blancos youth team, captaining every side from the Under-10s to the Under-19s.
The 19-year-old held talks regarding a move last week and recently completed his medical before finalizing the switch.
And according to reports, manager Mark Huges isn’t ready to stop there and is targeting another Barcelona youngster in Adama Traore, who is also being linked to Liverpool.
