Stoke City are said to be favourites to sign Sergi Roberto from Barcelona despite the fact that he is linked with a move to Arsenal, Metro reports.
The 22-year-old has been gathering huge interest from a number of top clubs as he is believed to have huge potential, often being compared to the likes of Barca legend Xavi.
Even though the Spanish midfielder is highly rated by the club, he is unable to break into the first team under Luis Enrique and is keen on leaving either on loan or even permanently as he searches for more playing time.
Roberto even dropped a huge hint over the potential move by posting a picture of him at the Britannia Stadium with former teamamtes Bojan and Marc Muniesa.
Tottenham Hotspur were also said to have joined the Gunners in chase of the playmaker, but it looks as though he is likely to pick Stoke as his next destination.
