Stoke City have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign West Bromwich Albion star Saido Berahino, Daily Star reports.
The 22-year-old has been linked with an exit to Tottenham ever since the summer, but despite requesting a transfer, club chairman Jeremy Peace refused to let him leave.
He is now expected to leave West Brom after being dropped for the past two months given his transfer saga during the previous window.
Berahino is currently valued by the Baggies at around the £22.5million region, with Liverpool also joining the race for the want-away striker.
Potters boss Mark Hughes is looking to reinforce his front line with another attacker and sees the England Under-21 forward as an ideal candidate.
Stoke are currently on a good run of form courtesy of star trio Bojan, Xerdhan Shaqiri, and Marko Arnautovic, but Hughes is still looking for more options.
He has so far registered eight Premier League starts and another seven substitute appearances from a possible 20 fixtures this term, scoring only three goals.
